Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation (2004)
Directed by: Phil Tippett
Starring: Billy Brown, Richard Burgi, Kelly Carlson
If there’s ever a franchise that deserved to never exist in the first place, it’s the family of Starship Troopers films that inexplicably keeps getting added to. Seriously, who in the world is clamoring for more shitty space marine movies? Don’t be confused, though, Starship Troopers 2 is stylistically different from the first film in just about every way.
A group of space marines are trapped in a bunker on an alien planet with only a comically-large bug zapper keeping them from being killed by the giant space bugs outside. At least, that’s what it seems like! One of the soldiers is infested with bugs that turn you into evil versions of yourself, and the parasites spread throughout the complex. Only Beef Greybeard can save them, but he must first overcome his dark past…
It’s a shitty space horror movie with a 90’s action hero as the main character. What’s not to love?! If things like huge guys with guns shooting CGI bugs bursting out of naked boobs are things you love, that is. Which, and I can’t stress this enough, it really shouldn’t be.

Haha, not I.
