This was… a weird movie. It’s a French cartoon done in a style reminiscent of Terry Gilliam’s cartoons for Monty Python. Only… it’s kinda weird.

All right, it’s a distant future and the human race has been enslaved by giant blue people (who never wear anything to cover their boobs) as pets. One particular human escapes from the blue people after finding one of their learning machines and brings it to a colony of escaped humans, giving them all knowledge equal to the giant blue people. With this newfound intelligence, they build a rocketship and go to the moon (of this planet. This is very much not Earth) where they find a bunch of statues that the blue people use to talk to other alien species. Seriously… this is a WEIRD MOVIE.

Now, that may sound all weird and neat and junk, but honestly, this is an extremely disjointed movie with a bunch of stuff that has no actual bearing on the story whatsoever. Mostly, it’s neat because it looks neat, and the story is just there to keep it somewhat contained within an hour and a half.

I’m sure you can find this weird thing on YouTube (the harbinger of death for all art, but still) if you’re interested in how crazy it looks, and really that’s the only reason for anyone to want to see it. Unfortunately.
