In the tradition of Sharktopus, Piranhaconda is a shitty SyFy original horror movie produced by Roger Corman about a monster that is, you guessed it, half piranha, half anaconda. At least, that’s what they tell us. In reality, it just looks like a huge ugly water snake thing and I really have no idea how piranha factors into the equation at all.
A film crew are setting up in Hawaii for their latest blockbuster horror film involving a crew of four people. They get captured by a group of… some guys who want to hold them for ransom. They already have captured the scientist Michael Madsen, but he doesn’t do anything except sit around and complain. Eventually they split up and try to escape from each other at the same time as they’re trying to get away from the Piranhacondas.
Yep, it’s a terrible, terrible film. If that surprises you in any respect, then I would kindly ask you to buy a couple of these bridges that I have cluttering up my apartment. They’re really quite affordable.
