Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla (1994)

Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla (1994)

Directed by: Kensho Yamashita

Starring: Megumi Odaka, Jun Hashizume, Zenkichi Yoneyama

“Okay, I have an idea: Let’s have Godzilla fight another Godzilla!” “Uh, yeah, we just did that, it’s called Mechagodzilla.” “No, no, this one isn’t a robot: It’s from SPACE! We’ll call it SPACE GODZILLA and it’ll have… I dunno, crystals or some shit on it.” “DAMMIT, RETARDO! IF ONLY YOUR FATHER DIDN’T OWN THE STUDIO!!!”

So there are these magic types of cells that Godzilla’s made of, right? Okay, well, that sort of stuff also exists in space, and that’s what makes up Space Godzilla, who lands on the planet as a meteorite. He’s got big ol’ crystals on his back, and there are lasers or electricity or some shit that he shoots. You know the drill. Speaking of drill, the anti-Godzilla military force has decided to retrofit Mechagodzilla by replacing his face with a giant drill! For no reason!

They’re slipping… Godzilla kinda acts like a good guy in this movie again. I thought they were making everything all dark and gritty! You can’t flip-flop like that, man. Choose a side and stick to it!
