Maybe it says something about me or possibly our culture, but I’m not really used to seeing movies based on Nostradamus’ prophecies that aren’t presented as documentaries on the Discovery Channel. It’s a sad thing, that is.

It’s the end of the world, and all sorts of shit is blowing up. Of course, one scientist realizes that it’s all as Nostradamus predicted, but nobody will listen to him… UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE!

There isn’t really a plot to this movie. It’s just a bunch of bad stuff that happens under the vague pretense that Nostradamus predicted it and that it’s the end of the world. It’s never explained, and his prophecies aren’t even really specifically mentioned, just alluded to. So it’s basically a Toho disaster movie that has one character that you care about (and he’s a crazy idiot who believes in Nostradamus, so how can you really get behind that?) and no real plot to speak of. WHERE’S GODZILLA, FUCKERS?!
