The Invisible Dead (1971)

The Invisible Dead (1971)

Directed by: Pierre Chevalier

Starring: Howard Vernon, Brigitte Carva, Fernando Sancho

Here’s another good example of a movie title that explicitly lies to you. If you’re going to name your movie The Invisible Dead, it better damn well have some invisible zombies in it, not just some invisible guy and no dead people or zombies or anything at all. FUCK.

A doctor visits some baron’s mansion or something to check up on his crazy daughter. While there, he finds out that the guy is crazy and has an invisible man servant. He finds this out through clever deduction and… okay, actually, the crazy guy just sits him down and tells him absolutely everything for like an hour. Then he doesn’t let him go because he “knows too much”. What did you think would happen? He didn’t even ASK about anything, you just started blabbing on.

This is a really stupid Italian horror movie because almost nothing at all happens in it. Except for a “rape” scene with an invisible man and a not-invisible naked girl, who just rolls around in some hay. It’s kinda goofy, but also kinda gross and weird at the same time.
