Now that’s more like it. This was the second and last movie in our Halloween Ray Harryhausen “marathon”, haha. We ended up spending most of the rest of the time watching Rifftrax instead of finishing up with Jason and the Argonauts. I guess most people aren’t used to just sitting around watching seven movies in a row like I am. This is why I don’t throw parties.

Sinbad the sailor must travel to an island and retrieve a genie for an evil sorcerer who shrinks Sinbad’s girlfriend. On this island, they encounter huge and crazy awesome monsters of all shapes (but only one size: big), including a cyclops and a huge two-headed vulture.

If you don’t think that huge stop-motion monsters fighting each other is cool, then you are no friend of mine. There’s a final battle in this movie between a dragon and a huge monkey or something, and it’s purely awesome. If that doesn’t sound interesting to you, then, well, I don’t know what to tell you. Don’t watch this movie, I guess. There’s some other stuff in there, but it’s mostly boring sword and sandal type action. You come to see Sinbad for the monsters, dammit.
