All right, more Hercules! Well, SON of Hercules, whatever. I mean, sure, Hercules had something like six or seven sons (one of which with a snake lady, if I remember right), I don’t think any of those were like “Argocles,” a character who is exactly the same as Hercules in every way.

Herc–I mean, Argocles goes to a random kingdom where there’s an evil queen and she falls in love with him… and he drinks and sleeps a lot… Yeah, he sure takes after his ol’ dad. What else was in this movie… Oh, his big feat of strength is that he’s sentenced to be pulled apart by elephants, and he gets around it by just praying that Zeus will destroy the chains. LAME.

I actually had to look up the full title of Son of Hercules in the Land of Darkness, as the movie just called itself “Sons of Hercules,” and had a little theme song, making me think it was part of a series of Sons of Hercules movies or something. It was weird. Also, they recycle a scene from the Steve Reeves’ Hercules movie where Jason is fighting a monster to get the golden fleece. I have no idea why they did that. It’s not like there was a lack of funds for this cheap piece of crap in the first place…
