Uuuuughh… Why did I watch the live-action Flintstones movie? I finally get done with that 50-pack of old sci-fi movies and what’s the FIRST thing I watch? The Flintstones. What the hell is wrong with me?
After Fred Flintstone helps out his friend Barney Rubble with adopting a kid, Barney pays him back by switching test results at their work so that Fred gets a better score and gets a vice president position. Fred, of course, abuses this position and alienates his friends, including firing Barney. Also of course, all of this is just a nefarious scheme to embezzle a bunch of money by Kyle MacLachlan. Then there’s some… stupid stuff. This movie is so bad. They invent concrete, the end.
There are… god, look, this movie is just awful in just about every way. The one good part is John Goodman as Fred Flintstone, because he looks and acts exactly the part. Everything else about this flop is borderline torture. If you can help it, never, EVER see this movie. Ever. Ever.
