The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody (2009)

The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody (2009)

Directed by: Sam Hain

Starring: Kimberly Kane, Anthony Rosano, Ashlynn Brooke

Welp, gotta appease the fans… time for another porn parody review! I’m not exactly sure why these account for 90% of my traffic, but I’m nothing if not a populist.

Mulder and Scully are investigating a string of murders that have a vaguely Satanic theme to them. Their search leads them to an occult bookstore where members of a local Satanic group have summoned a succubus which they’ve been feeding (via sex, obviously).

Honestly, the plot was pretty good as a ripoff of The X-Files. The problem is that all that means is it’s porn with a stupid Satanic theme to it, and everybody and their brother makes a million of those a year anyway. I’m not going to pretend to have expectations from a porn parody, but c’mon, you’re doing the X-Files and you didn’t have aliens? Seems kinda lazy to me.

Official Silence of the Lambs Parody (2011)

Official Silence of the Lambs Parody (2011)

Directed by: Gary Orona

Starring: Kagney Linn Karter, Anthony Rosano, Ben English

Since apparently I’m getting all my traffic for my review of the recent Scooby-Doo porn parody movie, I might as well review a bunch of other porn parodies, right? Not quite sure why The Silence of the Lambs would be a movie you’d want to turn into a porno, though…

The plot is basically the same as the source material, only with more sex. I know, it’s a big shock. Hannibal Lecter is a crazy guy whom the FBI asks for help with catching a different serial killer, Buffalo Bill Johnson (the joke being that he doesn’t want the word “Johnson” in his name anymore, because he’s a transvestite). Everyone has sex with each other and the bad guy is caught, the end.

It’s pretty obvious the guy who wrote this just watched The Silence of the Lambs and wrote down ways to make the lines sex-related. Which… makes it a little weird if you watch this WITHOUT first watching the original. There are obviously references to specific lines from the original movie, but they aren’t really set up properly to stand on their own. I know it’s a stupid thing to care about, even if it wasn’t a porn movie, but that’s what stood out at me about this movie. Also that it was really weird that the girl Buffalo Bill kidnapped just wanted him to fuck her while she made fun of him. That was… really weird.
