I’m not really sure where all these “classic” 70’s porn movies on my hard drive came from, but they keep popping up occasionally under names that catch me completely by surprise, like The Opening of Misty Beethoven.
A guy finds a prostitute in an adult theater who’s giving out five dollar handjobs and decides to turn her into the world’s greatest porn star. It’s kinda like My Fair Lady, but with blowjobs. The girl eventually trains hard enough to get over her previous sexual hangups and becomes a media darling, but the guy realizes that he fell in love with her and takes her out of the limelight to be with him.
There are a couple funny moments in this movie, and its premise is as good as one I’ve seen to make one person just have tons of sex over the course of a film. Other than that, it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a 70’s porn movie. Lots of short sex scenes, lots of hair everywhere, and an interesting tongue-in-cheek sense of humor about the whole thing.
