Apart from Pixar’s newest release, Brave, the two Cars movies were the only ones I hadn’t seen. I’m not sure why I decided to finally bite the bullet and watch these, but… well, I did. So… hooray, I guess.
An up-and-coming racecar is very full of himself, so when he accidentally ends up in a small rural town and is forced to do chores and fall in love with a pretty lady car, he learns Values and whatever.
I can’t be the only person who fixated on how weird and creepy a world of sentient cars and no people was. It’s impossible. Apart from that, this is a boring, no-frills kid’s film with a cavalcade of famous voices and wacky fart jokes. Honestly, it’s way below the standards Pixar had set with EVERY OTHER FILM before this. It’s disappointing.
