You know how sometimes kids movies try to be educational, as well as entertaining? Well, did you know that sometimes the people who write that “educational” material have NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT THEY’RE TALKING ABOUT?! That’s how you get films like Scooby-Doo and the Witch’s Ghost.

The Mystery Machine Gang get caught up in the search for an ancient book, an obviously evil horror writer, and a pop band of girls who dress like vampires. What do they all have in common? They’re all related in some way to an old witch, or “wiccan”, from the 16th century, who has evil magic powers. Only the lead singer of the band can stop her (because she’s a sixth generation wiccan).

So… just in case you didn’t know, Wicca wasn’t invented until the 60’s. Just wanna throw that out there. The women who were killed in the Salem Witch Trials were not wiccan, they were just persecuted innocents. Also, it’s just a fucking hippie religion, not a goddamn magic cult. I HATE YOU, SCOOBY-DOO!!
