Blood for Dracula, aka Andy Warhol’s Dracula has managed to make a very special list. My list of the worst movies I’ve ever seen, and by god if it doesn’t do it’s damnedest to shoot right up to the top.
Dracula is going to die in a couple weeks unless he drinks the blood of a virgin, so his assistant takes him to Italy, where apparently there are virgins aplenty. They shack up in a house with four daughters and Dracula slowly goes through them all, none of which are virgins thanks to the gardener who’s very politically active. This same gardener figures out that Dracula’s a vampire and chops him up.
The acting in this movie is just awful. It’s like the director specifically told the actors to read their lines in monotone, like kids reading from a book in middle school. I mean, you have to try really hard to be that bad at acting. I’ve seen high school productions of The Miracle Worker that not only featured better acting, but which featured significantly better acting. This is possibly the worst vampire movie I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen all three Underworld movies and the first two Twilights.
