Well, it’s the year 2011, and I think it’s finally safe to mention Chuck Norris on the internet again. Our long struggle with those terrible jokes is finally over! Everyone celebrate by watching Ch– wait… I should think this through further.
Norris plays a heroic detective who once caught a dangerous serial killer, who appears to be on the loose again. This time, he’s got a pregnant wife to worry about… Does that complicate things? Actually, no. It just takes up a bunch of time. Huh.
There’s the standard sort of B-movie action hero stuff in here; pointless shots of him working out and showing off his ability to kick people in the face, being nice and wonderful to everyone all the time, and being so great at everything that it’s basically pointless to even do anything bad in the same country as the guy. Wonder why there wasn’t any tension in the action sequences…
