Oh, 90’s action movies, why are you so damn goofy? Honestly, I don’t even care, just keep doing what you were doing before. Or… I guess you can’t, since the 90’s are over. At least there are still several thousand identical films from that ten year period I can watch. Hooray!
A group of terrorists led by a psychopathic cyborg (have you heard my new band, etc etc) take over some place where they have missiles and a self-destruct sequence and a big ol’ cafeteria. I think it’s some underground lab or something. Anyway, a boy, his mom, and a hunky repairman are all that stand in the way of the bad guys, and they have to keep them from… uh… blowing up the Earth. That sounds about right.
This is a really unremarkable 90’s action movie, except the guy playing the crazy robot fella is hilariously awful. Like, every time he shoots at someone, he makes little “maw-maw” movements with his mouth, like he’s laughing like a goddamn video game enemy. That’s pretty much the only reason to see this movie.
