If you can’t tell from the sudden string of weird 70’s TV movies, I got a new bargain 50 pack of movies, the theme of which is “movies with actors in them”, apparently.
Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton play an upper middle class couple who have relationship problems and go through a divorce. It’s split up into two parts (since this was originally a made-for-TV miniseries), the first from “his” point of view, and the second from “hers”. More or less. Anyway, it’s really generic dramatic soap opera-ey type stuff, and to everybody’s surprise, Elizabeth Taylor plays a bitch.
I just really don’t get into these kinds of movies. You know the type, the ones that awards bodies absolutely love. What’s so interesting about two horrible, unlikable people getting a divorce?
